Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

DevNibble ("we", "us", the "Site") is a collection of free online developer tools available at devnibble.com. This policy explains what data the Site does and does not handle. In short: the tools run entirely in your browser, and the content you paste, type or upload is never sent to us.

1. Data you enter into the tools

Every tool on DevNibble runs client-side — that is, entirely inside your web browser on your own device. Text you paste, files you open (PDFs, images, ZIPs, etc.), keys, passwords and any other input are processed locally and are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. We do not see, store, log or have any access to that content.

2. Local browser storage

The Site uses your browser's local storage to remember lightweight preferences so the app works the way you left it — for example your chosen theme (light/dark), your selected language, and your list of favorite tools. This information stays in your browser, is not sent to us, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

3. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views and general performance). Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites, and does not collect personal data. It only reports anonymous, aggregated metrics. You can read more in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

4. Hosting and server logs

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like virtually all web hosts, Cloudflare may automatically process standard technical request information (such as IP address and browser user-agent) to deliver the site securely and protect against abuse. We do not use this information to identify you, and we do not maintain our own separate server-side logs of your activity.

5. Advertising

DevNibble does not currently display third-party advertising. If we introduce advertising in the future (for example Google AdSense), third-party vendors — including Google — may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to DevNibble and/or other sites. You will be able to opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies via aboutads.info. This section will be updated with specific details before any advertising is enabled.

6. Children's privacy

The Site is a general-purpose developer utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal data about you, there is no personal profile for us to access, correct or delete. You remain in full control of the local preferences stored in your own browser.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy can be directed to the site's creator, Souvik Das.
