These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DevNibble ("the Site"), a collection of free online developer tools at devnibble.com. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
DevNibble provides free utility tools that run entirely in your web browser. The Site is offered for your convenience, with no account required and no charge.
2. Provided "as is"
The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. While we aim for correctness, you are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it — especially for security-sensitive uses (hashing, encryption, key generation), financial calculations, or anything affecting production systems.
3. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevNibble and its creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or other damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its tools — including any loss of data, profits or business.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to break any law, to infringe others' rights, to attempt to disrupt or overload the service, or to misuse it in a way that harms the Site or other users. The synthetic test-data generators (for example test credit-card numbers) are provided strictly for software testing and must not be used for fraud or any unlawful purpose.

The tools process your input locally in your browser and do not send it to us. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Intellectual property
The DevNibble name, design and original code are the property of their creator. The tools may be used freely for personal and commercial purposes. Third-party open-source libraries bundled with the Site remain under their respective licenses.
7. Third-party links
The Site may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third-party sites.
8. Changes
We may modify these Terms or the Site at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
